Wei-Cheng Chinese Buffet & Restaurant is the culinary equivalent of a coin toss. Matt was all about the nostalgia and claimed it was just as good as he remembered, while Tony was charmed by the warm welcome from the chef, who moonlights as the host. But let’s pause there—because while some dishes are hitting the spot, others are falling flat. Sallylou81 found the food hot and fresh, while on the other side of the spectrum, Jason Bond had a bad trip that left him feeling sick. The buffet selection is apparently quite small—Will wasn't impressed with the value for money.
With a mix of great home-cooked vibes and some dodgy hits, it’s a bit of a gamble. If you’re rolling with a big family like Matt, you might find a few diamond dishes amongst the rough. Just prepare for a possible stomach rumble, and maybe stick to the prawn crackers. 🍜
