Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Salim's is that one Indian restaurant that knows how to throw a curry party. Dinura swears by it, calling it one of the best in town, and I’m inclined to believe them—especially when the staff is friendly and dishes like the Madras and garlic coriander naan hit the right notes. Hitz even praises the freshness, but with a side-eye to that suspicious red food coloring; it’s a mixed bag of pleasure and trepidation.
But hold up—it isn’t all sunshine and curry. Lorraine's chicken tikka jalfrezi came off like a sad tomato soup, and the delivery calamity left Rachael with a cold prawn pathia and excuses instead of a piping hot feast. So, if you’re hitting up Salim's, you’re likely in for a culinary rollercoaster—just strap in and pray the curry gods are smiling.
