The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
The Lounge India may be your local curry spot, but it seems to be on a bit of a rollercoaster ride lately. Shila Sultana and Joe Pendle found joy in the well-recommended lamb chops and pakoras, while others like Steve Curtiss and Adam Croft were left reeling from underwhelming dishes that felt like a letdown. One moment you could be enjoying a feast, and the next, you’re questioning your life choices over a sad chicken dansak.
The decor might need a refresh, and the service can be hit or miss, but when it's good, it’s really good. Just be prepared for a mixed bag when you walk in. If you’re in the mood for Indian, trust your gut (or the staff) on what to order, and you might just leave satisfied. Fingers crossed your experience is one of the good ones.
