ZAKS Cafe is the kind of place that serves up breakfast just the way you like it: quick, hearty, and without the drama. Natalie Hall was all about that perfectly cooked egg and the great value, while John Fenton takes his boys there weekly, proving it’s a family favorite. The staff seem to be the kind of folks you'd want to have a pint with, and the food's always spot on, even if it’s not blowing anyone’s socks off.

However, the place does have its fair share of pitfalls. Sharon was left frustrated when her food arrived late, and Ryan Howells was served burnt spam, which is an impressive feat for a breakfast place. Not to mention Lucy H's two-hour wait for breakfast that never materialized. So while ZAKS is a decent option for your morning fix, you might want to temper your expectations because sometimes it’s just a roll of the dice. 🍳☕
