Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Pato Lounge is a mixed bag of brunch vibes and underwhelming meals. Their Vegetarian breakfast and Vegan Avocado on toast with bacon bits sound fab on the menu, but don't expect a Michelin star. Amy Louise thinks it’s a chill spot for families, while Alan Evison was all about the festive live music setting a nice atmosphere. But not everyone’s sipping the Kool-Aid; Devan Patel and Bob Marley had major beef with slow service and cold food. One minute you’re enjoying a cozy meal, the next you’re questioning if the chef’s on a permanent coffee break.
The staff are generally friendly, with Nicholas Corke raving about their service. However, if you’re hoping for a culinary adventure, you might be better off grabbing a snack before your visit. Looks like Pato has its charm, but it’s not exactly the culinary oasis you’d hope for. Just remember: the food might arrive with the same urgency as a sloth on a Sunday stroll.
"It’s a relaxed atmosphere and perfect place to meet with friends and family."
"Lovely bar with pleasantly surprised Christmas live music."
"Fired chicken with Bombay spices was extraordinary and I loved the bang bang chicken with noodles the most"
