Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
The Clove is aiming for culinary greatness but might be lost in translation. Elliot was over the moon with the Indian flavors, claiming it’s the best he’s had since moving from Birmingham. But let’s not kid ourselves; others had a less than picturesque experience. Vikki's birthday celebration was saved by the friendly staff, but Felipe found himself battling tough lamb like it was a prize-fighter.
If you're lucky, you might walk away with a great meal, but if you're not, you could leave feeling like you fought a food fight. The quality can be hit or miss, so if you’re feeling brave, this place might be worth a shot—or a pass.
