Pepe’s Piri Piri is the flavor-packed chicken joint that serves up some decent peri-peri goodness but can turn into a kitchen horror movie if you’re not careful. Taimur was loving the juicy chicken grill meal, and Emaan was all about that finger-lickin' 1/2 chicken. But then you’ve got Adam and Layla warning about the long waits and, uh, the odd smell of food that may or may not be fresh.
The service can be hit or miss, and with some serious food safety red flags, it’s a risky gamble. If you know what to order and when to go, you might just walk away satisfied—but be prepared for potential drama.
