Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Pepenero is the kind of place that takes you by surprise. With a hygiene rating of 3, it’s a mixed bag. On one hand, Thisath Ranawaka found the pepperoni pizza surprisingly scrumptious, while Holly Johnson declared it the best pizza ever. But then again, Darren Cross pointed out the service hiccups, which makes you wonder if it’s worth the risk. The vibe is funky, and the underground bar has a nice charm, but the inconsistencies in service might just keep you on your toes.
So if you're feeling adventurous and want to try some solid pizza, Pepenero could be a fun stop, just be prepared for a few bumps along the way. 🍕🍷
