The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Nice Spice is simply alright. The roast meats are decent, with Ian raving about the crispy roast pork and duck. The portions are generous, and it’s a good spot if you’re craving some comforting Hong Kong flavors. But let’s not pretend it’s the culinary revelation of the century.
While some of the dishes hit the mark, others are just average, and the no-frills canteen vibe doesn’t help elevate the experience. It’s a reliable option when you’re hungry and need something quick, but you won’t be dreaming about it later. If you’re in the area, swing by, but don’t go out of your way for it.
