The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Emperor Court is that spot you'd sort of miss if you weren't looking for it, but once inside, it feels like you've struck gold. The roast duck and salt & pepper squid are stealing the show, with Olivia Anthony calling it some of the best Chinese food she's ever had. The intimate atmosphere is perfect for dates, and let's be honest, who doesn’t want to impress with a crispy lamb pancake or two? The service here is on point, and they even manage to keep things flowing without making you feel rushed.
While a few folks had minor gripes about the decor being a bit dated, that’s a small price to pay for food that'll make your taste buds sing. Prashant Shukla found the welcome warm and the food plentiful, proving this place knows how to satisfy its diners. So if you’re in Bristol and after a solid Chinese that won’t leave you in the doghouse, Emperor Court is a safe bet. 🦆🍤
