Tier Achieved:
Good food, hygiene's had some notes. Probably fine.
The food's genuinely great and the hygiene issues are "Improvement Necessary" — not catastrophic. Worth a punt if you're not a germaphobe.
Crafty Beans is the kind of spot that’ll fuel your caffeine addiction while simultaneously testing your stomach lining. With a hygiene rating of 3/5 and a Google score of 4.8, it’s a double-edged sword. Stuart enjoyed a hearty breakfast roll that was just right for his hangover, but then there’s the coffee situation—disappointing, to say the least. Karla made a fuss about their stunning gender reveal cake, but don’t get too comfy with their uncut cake slices, as some folks found them a tad dry.
While the food seems to have a good reputation, the coffee and sandwich game is a bit shaky. You might enjoy the vibe and friendly staff—Cal praised them for being attentive—but you run the risk of biting into something that could be better. If your expectations are low and your hunger is high, you might just leave satisfied. Just don’t go in expecting a culinary miracle. 🍰
"Got the great breakfast roll after a heavy day of drinking yesterday and it was really really nice."
"They don’t normally do a gender reveal cake, but they made one for us and it turned out perfect."
"Welcomed by friendly, attentive staff the moment I came through the door."
