Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Ciao Restaurant is a charming little Italian spot that feels like you’ve stumbled into someone’s cozy living room—complete with the smell of good food and warm welcomes. Ayyub Chowdhury was captivated by the homely decor and the food, specifically the Pizza Piccante. Jacob Teale seems to have found food heaven with pizzas that explode with flavor, and the creamy goat cheese number? Pure magic. But hold your horses—don’t go expecting Michelin-starred drama; it’s a family-run affair, and the heart is there, even if the kitchen can be a tad slow when it gets busy.
However, things aren’t all sunshine and rainbows. Paige Ridgeway had a less than stellar experience, citing overcooked seafood that left a bad taste and worse, food poisoning. So, if you’re rolling the dice here, maybe stick to the pizzas and pasta—leave the seafood for another day. Overall, it's a solid choice, but just be aware that not every experience is a culinary romantic comedy.
"The food was spot on – the Pizza Piccante was full of flavour."
"Nothing fancy, but one of the best Italian restaurant in Bristol."
"Every dish was bursting with authentic flavor."
