Welcome to the new Basil & Co, now serving bagels instead of its glorious focaccia and delicious risks of nostalgia. Anda Cocea raves about the smoked salmon bagel while Amelia Lawrence is still dreaming about the El Diablo that packed a spicy punch. But don’t get too comfortable; some patrons are lamenting the loss of the previous cafe vibe, and the new owners might not know their sesame from their spinach. It’s clean and chirpy, but if you’re hoping for the old Basil's charm, you might be left wanting. 🤷♀️
