The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
The Venue is a top-notch student bar that’s more than just a watering hole. The Jubel peach beer is a hit at £4.95 a pint, and when the fryers are in working order, you can snag some decent grub. Staff, including the blonde supervisor who knows how to mix drinks like a pro, keep the vibe high and the service quick, even when it’s packed.
However, the menu can be a bit of a lottery, with cocktails mysteriously unavailable and some basic food that feels like it’s been sourced from an Aldi. But hey, it’s a student bar, so if you’re after cheap drinks and a lively atmosphere, you could do much worse. Just don’t go expecting Michelin-starred dining - it’s more about the banter than the culinary finesse.
