The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
The Hawthorn is the cozy spot you didn’t know you needed for a great meal. John Fredrickson loved their scallop starter—seriously, chipotle butter and caviar? Sign me up. Plus, A gave it five stars for the fabulous service and great atmosphere, giving the overall vibe a solid tick. You can tell they know how to treat their guests right.
But no place is without flaws—some diners found the beef a bit chewy and the roasties overdone. If you're in the area, the Hawthorn is worth a visit for its stellar seafood and cozy ambiance, just don't go expecting a perfect meal.
