Tier Achieved:
Good food, hygiene's had some notes. Probably fine.
The food's genuinely great and the hygiene issues are "Improvement Necessary" — not catastrophic. Worth a punt if you're not a germaphobe.
Savoury Ceylon is the Sri Lankan spot in Bradford bringing all the feels with its cheese kothu and string hopper kothu. The dishes are a flavor festival, and the service? Top-notch. The owner, a lovely lady chef, knows her stuff and is all about making you feel at home. From the hoppers to the lumprais, everything hits the right notes of authenticity and deliciousness.
You’ll want to dive into the egg hoppers and those traditional dosas served with seeni sambol—complete game changers. Eby’s Explorations nailed it when they raved about the preparation, and it’s clear that the kitchen is where the magic happens. Just be prepared to come back again and again when you taste this level of care. You'll feel like you’ve travelled straight to Sri Lanka without leaving Bradford. 😋
