Tier Achieved:
For the germaphobe whose motto is 'food is fuel'.
Spotless kitchen, rubbish food. Won't get sick. Might wish you had. Emergency calories only.
The Lobster Hatch serves up seafood with a view, but don’t get too excited—the food is about as thrilling as watching paint dry. Sure, you can feast on scampi and haddock while gazing at the beach, but don't expect culinary fireworks. They whip up fish and chips that are decent, but even a delightful location can’t save you from mediocre grub.
The staff are nice enough, and the atmosphere is chill, but if you’re hoping for a seafood adventure, you might want to lower those expectations. Portions might leave you feeling a bit short-changed, and let’s face it, you’d be better off hitting a local chippy for the same price. Beach vibes are nice, but they won’t fill your belly. 🦞🏖️
"Beautiful place to sit and eat your chippy tea."
"Not the best fish & chips in my life, but the great view and place."
"Fish was nice and flaky with crispy batter."
