Tier Achieved:
For the germaphobe whose motto is 'food is fuel'.
Spotless kitchen, rubbish food. Won't get sick. Might wish you had. Emergency calories only.
Starbucks Coffee Company in B75 is a classic fuel stop. You know the drill: the coffee is decent, and it’s a guaranteed Wi-Fi oasis for students and remote workers. Brian Cockerill had a lovely morning coffee experience, but Martyn Hood points out that hot doesn’t seem to be in the Starbucks vocabulary here, with everything hovering at a dangerously lukewarm temperature. This could be a serious problem if you were craving a hot drink.
Then there’s the service, which fluctuates from friendly to downright rude, as Tony Green's unfortunate encounter illustrates. So, if you’re looking for a caffeine fix without the drama, this place might work for you. Just double-check your drink before leaving to avoid any allergenic surprises. It’s clean enough, but don’t expect a Michelin star for either the food or service.
