Birmingham Ichiban is a hidden noodle paradise nestled next to Wing Yip Superstore. Lydia Cheang's ramen experience was nothing short of magical, with broth that could convince a non-Japanese to convert. The friendly staff and “tea leave” eggs were delightful surprises, adding to the overall experience.
If you're after a cozy spot to dive into some comforting ramen, this is the place. Alex Win-Pe noted the simple menu made choices easy, and the bubble teas? A must. While some dishes might not blow your mind, it’s clear that the ramen here is the star of the show. Just don’t forget to grab a bubble tea on your way out.
