Tier Achieved:
For the germaphobe whose motto is 'food is fuel'.
Spotless kitchen, rubbish food. Won't get sick. Might wish you had. Emergency calories only.
City Caffè is one of those places that's perfectly fine if you find yourself in the area and in need of caffeine and a bite. The coffee is solid and the atmosphere has a modern vibe that’s not too cramped. However, the food seems to be hit or miss. While some folks enjoyed the lamb donner, others had their taste buds assaulted by dry, reheated pizza and rock-hard fish and chips. Talk about a gamble.
Overall, it’s clean and the staff seems friendly, but if you care more about great food than just a coffee pit stop, you might want to keep looking. It’s a decent fuel-up when you’re in a pinch.
"Nice coffee at a very good price."
"Really good lamb donner kebab!"
"The most tasteless and dry pizza I've ever had."
