Tier Achieved:
Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
The Woodford is all about that lakeside chill, but let's be honest, it’s a bit of a mixed bag. You’ve got lovely views that make you feel like you’re on a postcard, but the food? It’s kind of in the ‘meh’ category. The full English breakfast is decent, but burnt toast and lukewarm sausage? Not exactly a culinary triumph. James Mikkelson wasn't thrilled about the no-substitution policy either—like, calm down, it’s not a life-altering request.
The service is a bright spot, with staff that are apparently attentive and keen, making it a good spot for a relaxed meet-up with your mates. But if you’re looking for mind-blowing food, you might wanna keep scrolling. For now, it's a safe bet for a casual catch-up by the lake, just don’t expect to be wowed.
"Attentive staff who nothing was too much trouble."
"Friendly staff, amazing food, a fantastic view."
"Such a friendly welcoming place with an amazing view."
