Tier Achieved:
For the mildly adventurous. Non-zero chance of the π©s.
Great food, but the kitchen's had some "notes" from the inspector. Worth it? Probably. Pack Imodium just in case.
Cafe Grounded is a bit of a mixed bag. You might stumble upon a delightful chicken Caesar salad, as Olga Acevedo did, or enjoy a lovely full English breakfast like Amy Horner. But then, brace yourself for the cold toast and underwhelming fried eggs from Susan Marks, who clearly had a less-than-stellar experience. It's like playing roulette with your brunchβsometimes you hit the jackpot, and sometimes you just... don't.
The staff seem to be friendly, with particular shout-outs to Rosie who makes a great latte and seems to be everyone's favorite. But hygiene? Well, thatβs a different story. A dirty high chair and grimy toilets? Yikes. If you're feeling adventurous, it might be worth the stop, but keep your expectations in check. π³
